This auction shall be governed by the following terms and conditions:
•  The stallion services offered in this auction are intended for the 2007 breeding season only.
•  A bidder may bid on any number of stallion services.
•  Call for minimum bids.
•  Bidding for thoroughbreds closes on Friday, February 8, 2008 and for all others on Monday, March 3, 2008 at 5:00 p.m. Bids received after this time will be honored on a first come first served basis.
•  The winning bidder must submit a check made out to Stallion Service Auction within 10 days of auction closure.
•  Bids will be posted on the website immediately, with the highest bid always being current.
•  Bids are binding.
•  No refunds will be given on posted bids

The MSU-SSA urges bidders to contact stallion owners before bidding and to become familiar with the breeding contract, terms, and expenses involved with the stallion services on which they bid. The stallion owner has the right to refuse any mare not registered with the Stallion’s governed registry. The winning bidder does not assume liability for any disputes that may arise between the bidder and the stallion owner.
