Standardized Test Requirements
Applicants are required to submit by October 1 of the year of application scores from the General GRE (Verbal, Quantitative and Analytical Writing sections). Note that scores must be received by October 1. Applicants should not interpret this to mean that scores will be accepted as long as the test is taken by October 1.
Submit GRE scores directly to the MSU College of Veterinary Medicine at school code 1326. Code 1480 will deliver scores to the university’s Office of Graduate Studies, not to the College of Veterinary Medicine.
Score reporting typically takes 3-4 weeks during peak season. It is recommended that the test be taken no later than September 1 of the year of application; preferably earlier.
A Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL®) score of 213 is required for applicants whose primary language is not English.
