Dental Hygiene
Dental hygiene and preventative care are rapidly expanding areas of veterinary medicine. Dentistry is one of the fastest growing niches in veterinary medicine. Early intervention to improve oral hygiene can increase the quality of life for our aging pet population. All students can expect to perform multiple dental procedures while on the Primary Care rotation. Our dentistry program encompasses all of the options one would expect, including ultrasonic cleaning, polishing, extractions, restorations, oral surgery, and digital radiography. Pain management is always considered in the management of dental and oral procedures.
Dr. Diana Eubanks provides proven leadership through both lecture based presentations and case management. Her expertise includes being a Diplomate of the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners. She is currently in the process of becoming a Fellow of the Academy of Veterinary Dentistry.
