Patient Referral Policy
The MSU Animal Health Center is a veterinary teaching hospital serving the State of Mississippi and the surrounding region. Its purpose is to offer the most comprehensive medical and surgical care possible while teaching veterinary students, residents, interns, and veterinary technology students. Our patients include animals enrolled in our Primary Care Program or referred to us by a practicing veterinarian. Referral assures the communication of test results, diagnoses, and treatments between our clinicians and your veterinarian. This communication provides a means for maximum care for your animals both here and at home.
