The Comparative Platelet Investigation Laboratory aim is to standardize platelet function assessment, and the assessment of the activity of several antiplatelet compounds. With the capability of testing animal and human samples, this laboratory counts with state-of-the-art equipment in over 800 f2. Current projects include testing different anti-coagulants on platelet function testing in dogs, and anti-platelet activity in canine platelets.
For students enrolled in Masters, Ph.D., or in a Postdoc program that would be interested in applying for a full Ph.D. or Postdoc scholarship from CNPq and FAPESP.
