The Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine’s (CVM) Office of Research and Graduate Studies (ORGS) is a service unit that provides leadership in research administration and graduate education to CVM faculty, staff and students. CVM ORGS is overseen by the CVM Associate Dean of Research and Graduate Studies.
In the area of research, ORGS helps link faculty with funding opportunities, provides budget support and administrative guidance to CVM researchers during the process of grant proposal submissions, assists investigators in managing research accounts, and supports the actual process of conducting and publishing research results.
ORGS provides administrative oversight and direction for CVM’s graduate programs. The Associate Dean of Research and Graduate Studies serves as administrative officer for matters concerning the Veterinary Medical Sciences (VMS) M.S. and Ph.D. programs and the Ph.D. program in Environmental Toxicology.
