Appointments are not necessary but information obtained regarding a patient’s status prior to arrival may be vital.
The Emergency Service is available 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. Critical patients have the benefit of on-site personnel ready for life-threatening situations. As warranted, patients can be transferred the next business day to the appropriate service department within the hospital or to their referring veterinarian as directed. In either case, a patient’s diagnosis, treatment and condition will be communicated in a timely manner to facilitate a positive outcome.
